Nylon 66 of relative viscosity at least 45 containing 90 to 150 g. equivs. amine end groups/1000 kg. polymer is obtained by incorporating therein during polymerization 0À17 to 0.40 mol. per cent hexamethylene diammonium phenylphosphinate, 0.66 to 1À42 mol. per cent N-amino (C 1 to C 0 )-alkylmorpholine and 0.23 to 0.7 mol. per cent excess hexamethylene diamine. Titanium dioxide, barium sulphate or alumina may also be included as a delusterant, as may a polyalkylene ether glycol as an antistatic agent. In the examples, manganous hypophosphite and a silicone antifoam are also included. Reference is made to Specifications 1,093,203, 990,713 and 898,889. |
