Chlorine-containing polymers are stabilized by adding a polymer containing chains of alternating benzene rings and methylene groups. In examples polybenzyl is added to P.V.C., chlorinated polyethylene containing tribasic lead sulphate and calcium stearate and P.V.C. containing diisobutyl phthalate, chlorinated paraffin, white lead and calcium stearate. |
