abstract | 1,222,197. Dental preparations. BLENDAXWERKE R. SCHNEIDER & CO. 5 June, 1969 [5 Aug., 1968; 21 March, 1969], No. 28444/69. Heading A5B. A dental preparation contains 0.5-15.0% by weight of water-soluble (as defined) inorganic phosphate, 0.5-10.0% by weight of watersoluble organic phosphate and 0.1-10% by weight of water-soluble fluorine compound, together with one or more conventional constituents of dental preparations, the preparation having an aqueous medium a pH-value of 4.5-6.5. The preparations may also contain enzymes such as pancreatin, pepsin, trypsin, cheymotrypsin, amylase and lipase from the pancreas, and vegetable enzymes such as papain, bromelin, ficin and α-amylase from malt, lipase from castor beans, protease and/or amylase from Bacillus subtilis and dextranase from Penicillium funiculosum. A number of suitable water-soluble organic phosphates, inorganic phosphates and fluorine compounds are specified. The compositions may be in the form of toothpastes, mouth washes, tooth powders, chewing gum or tooth cleaning tablets. |
