An additive for rubber comprises a toluene or ethyl benzene sulphonamide, hexylene or octylene glycol, and polypropylene glycol sebacate. The additive controls the cure characteristics and also plasticizes the rubber. Rubbers exemplified are natural rubber, nitrile rubber, SBR, neoprene, butyl, EPDM and mixtures thereof. |
