abstract 119,219. Soc. Industrielle de Produits Chimiques. Aug. 31, 1917, [Convention date]. Alkali bicarbonates.-In the production of alkali dichromates by treating monochromates with carbonic acid in the presence of water with or without an organic solvent of the dichromate such as ethyl or methyl alcohol or acetone, the alkali bicarbonate is separated by means of its slight solubility in solutions of dichromate, particularly in presence of the above-mentioned organic solvents. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1642/92.
