[Also in Division G2] The invention comprises compounds of the formula where R 1 and R 2 are alkyl groups of 1-4 carbon atoms, Y is a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group and X is an anionic radical. The compounds are prepared by diaralkylating an appropriate dialkoxy aniline, nitrating to introduce a nitro group in the 4- position, reducing the nitro group to an amine group and diazotizing.
