abstract | 1,187,175. Dialkyl vinyl phosphate compositions; animal feeds. SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ N.V. 24 June, 1968 [26 June, 1967], No. 29976/68. Headings A5B and A5E. A composition suitable for combating insects and endo- or ecto-parasites comprises a wax having starch dispersed therein, the starch having dispersed therein a biologically active phosphate characterized by a pentavalent phosphorus atom having attached thereto two O- alkyl radicals, one O-vinyl or O-substituted vinyl moiety, and one divalent oxygen moiety, e.g. compounds of the formula: wherein R is alkyl, R 1 is H, C 1 -C 4 alkyl, phenyl or halophenyl; R 2 is H, halogen or C 1 -C 4 alkyl and R 3 is H, halogen, mono- or di-alkyl carbamoyl, C 1 -C 5 carboalkoxy or alpha-alkylbenzyloxy-carbonyl having up to 10 carbon atoms. The compositions may be stabilised by the addition of a phenol. The compositions may be'incorporated in animal feeds. |
