abstract | 1,185,219. Monoazo dyes. BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK A.G. 14 June, 1967 [15 June, 1966], No. 27417/67. Heading C4P. The invention comprises disperse monoazo dyes of formula wherein Ar is a phenyl residue which may be substituted by halogen atoms or alkyl or alkoxy groups, the arylamide group being in meta- or para-position to the azo group and R is an alkyl group containing 1-4 carbon atoms. The dyes are prepared by coupling a diazotized aminobenzanilide with a 1-phenyl- 3-alkoxycarbonyl-5-pyrazolone. The dyes or mixtures thereof are used to dye polyester materials in yellow shades. |
