titleOfInvention | Bis-Thiosemicarbazones, a process for their manufacture and preparations containing them |
abstract | 1,185,076. Monoaminobisthiosemicarbazones. FARBWERKE HOECHST A.G. 15 May, 1967 [14 May, 1966], No. 22426/67. Heading C2C. Novel compounds of formula wherein. R is dimethylamino or diethylamino, are prepared by reaction of a compound of formula with a compound of formula or by reaction of a compound of formula with a compound of formula or by reaction of a mustard oil of formula S=C=N-CH 2 -CH 2 -R with a compound of formula or by reaction of a mustard oil of formula with a compound of formula Diacetyl - mono (2 - dimethyaminoethyl - thiosemicarbazone)-monohydrazone is prepared by reaction of equimolar quantities of diacetyl-dihydrazone and dimethylaminoethyl mustard oil. Diacetyl - mono(2 - diethylaminoethyl - thiosemicarbazone)-monohydrazone is prepared either by reaction of equimolar quantities of diacetyldihydrazone and diethylaminoethyl mustard oil or of diacetyl monohydrazone monoxime and 2-diethylaminoethyl-thiosemicarbazide. Compositions having anti-coccidiosis activity and being in forms suitable for oral administration, for example, in food mixes, comprise an above novel compound and a carrier which may also contain vitamins and growth promotants such as antibiotics. |
