Compositions comprising (a) a normally solid thermoplastic oxymethylene polymer uniformly blended with (b) 1 to 20% of a rubbery copolymer of ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a glass transition temperature below 0‹ C. Rubbery polymers include diolefin-acrylonitrile copolymers, acrylate and. methacrylate copolymers. In the examples, trioxan-ethylene oxide copolymers and trioxan-ethylene oxidediglycidyl ether of tetramethylene glycol terpolymers are blended with cyanoguanidine and a bisphenol, together with a rubbery butadieneacrylonitrile copolymer, or an acrylate-chloroethyl-vinyl ether copolymer, in a Banbury mill. |
