titleOfInvention | Process for Preparing 5-amino-4-imidazole Carboxamide Riboside |
abstract | 1,175,100. 5 - Amino - 4 - imidazole carboxamide riboside. KYOWA HAKKO KOGYO CO. Ltd. 24 Oct., 1967 [28 Oct., 1966], No. 48312/67. Heading C2C. 5 - Amino - 4 - imidazole carboxamide riboside is produced by culturing a micro-organism of the genus Brevibacterium and which is capable of yielding the riboside, in an aqueous nutrient medium under aerobic conditions, and thereafter recovering the riboside from the fermentation liquor. The fermentation is preferably carried out at 25-40‹ C. and pH 5À5-8À5 using B. ammoniagenes A.T.C.C. 21105 or A.T.C.C. 21106, and the nutrient medium advantageously contains a purine, e.g. adenine. |
