abstract | 1,172,673. Supplying copper to ruminants. UNIVERSITY COURT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW. 12 Dec., 1966 [17 Dec., 1965], No. 53616/65. Heading A5B. [Also in Division C7] A rumen bullet for supplying copper to ruminants to overcome the affects caused by a deficiency thereof, incorporates an alloy comprising Cu 40-70% Al 0-15% one or more (CO) of the trace {Zn } 0-5% total elements (Mn) the balance being magnesium. The alloy may be formed round iron shot or a steel core to give the bullet sufficient density that it is not regurgitated or passed in faeces.
