titleOfInvention Means and method for controlling the toxicity of drug products
abstract 1,132,316. Therapeutic preparations. STANLEY DRUG PRODUCTS, Inc. 28 Feb., 1967 [28 Feb., 1966], No. 9484/67. Heading A5B. Therapeutic compositions comprise a therapeutic agent for internal use and a cellular respiration stimulating factor derived by extraction of yeast or animal tissue such as brain and spleen according to U.S. Patents Nos. 2320478 and 2320479. Specified therapeutic agents are reserpine, kanamycin, mechlorethamine hydrochloride, chlortetracycline and aspirin, the toxicity of each being stated to be reduced by the other component. The invention also includes the treatment of non-human animals by introducing a therapeutic agent, concurrently or sequentially with the cellular respiration stimulating factor, into the animal's bloodstream.
