titleOfInvention | Process for the production of transparent polyamides |
abstract | 1,130,433. Coated surfaces. SCHOLVENCHEMIE A.G. 9 March, 1966, No. 10406/66. Headings B2E and B2K. [Also in Division C3] Wood, metal and leather may be coated with a polyamide prepared by reacting a dicarboxylic acid component which comprises 50 to 100% of 1, 10-decanedicarboxylic acid with a mixture of the stereoisomeric forms of 3- aminomethyl-3, 5, 5-trimethylcyclohexylamine. The 1, 10-decanedicarboxylic acid may have been mixed with up to 50% by weight of another dicarboxylic acid e.g. adipic acid, methyl substituted adipic acids, sebacic acid and terephthalic acid.
