[Also in Division C4] Novel complexes of aluminium chlorhydroxide and p-phenolsulphonic acid or a metal salt thereof in molar ratios of 1:1 to 12: 1 respectively are prepared by dissolving the compounds in the desired ratios in a co-solvent which is then evaporated. Antiperspirant and deodourant compositions for topical administration comprise an above novel complex and a carrier, base or propellant. The various forms include aerosols, sticks, pastes, creams, roll-on compositions and solutions. |
