A chewable tablet comprises up to 0.25 grm. of α-aminobenzyl penicillin or an equivalent amount of a derrivative therof, e.g. the trihydrate from 0.30 to 0.40 gms. of mannitol and 0.001 to 0.003 gms. of a solid polyethylene glycol, e.g. of M.W. 6000 to 7500. Preferred formulations also include glycine, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin and magnesium stearate. |
