abstract A method of treating grains and seeds to protect them from fungi comprises applying to the grains or seeds a preparation containing a mixture of (a) 3, 3, 4, 4-tetrachlorotetrahydrothiophene-1, 1-dioxide with (b) tributyl tin phthalimide and/or tributyl tin-p-toluenesulphonamide and/or tributyl tin chloride, the weight ratio of (a) to (b) in the mixture preferably being within the range of from 1 : 1 to 6 : 1, and an inert carrier, such a talcum.ALSO:A fungicidal composition for treating seeds comprises a mixture of (a) 3, 3, 4, 4, - tetrachlorotetrahydrothiophene - 1, 1 - dioxide with (b) tributyltinphthalimide and/or tributyltin - p - toluenesulphonamide and/or tributyltin chloride, the weight ratio of (a) to (b) preferably being within the range of from 1:1 to 6:1, in conjunction with an inert carrier material.
