abstract Compositions comprise by weight (a) 100 parts of PVC, (b) 20-50 parts of a rubbery butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer containing about 20% by wt. of acrylonitrile and (c) 30-60 parts of a liquid polyester of adipic acid and 1,3-butylene glycol having a molecular weight of at least 1000, the combined weights of (b) and (c) amounting to 56-80 parts. The polyester preferably has a molecular weight of 3,500 and is chain stopped with an acid of formula CH3(CH2)nCOOH where n is 10-16. There may also be present metal soap stabilizers, stearic acid, and pigments, fillers, impact improvers, secondary plasticizers and anti-oxidants. The compositions are used to make foils.
