titleOfInvention 1-glycosyl-5-azacytosines
abstract 1-Glycosyl-5-azacytosines are prepared by reacting a peracylglycosyl isocyanate with an O-(C1- 4 alkyl)isourea, condensing the 1 -peracylglycosyl - 4 - (C1- 4 alkyl) isobiuret formed with methyl or ethyl orthoformate and reacting the resulting 1 - peracylglycosyl - 4 - (C1- 4 alkoxy)-2 - oxo - 1,2 - dihydro - 1,3,5 - triazine with ammonia in methanol or ethanol. The compounds of the invention possess cancerostatic and anti-viral properties.
