abstract Compositions for administration to birds and animals in combating coccidiosis contain as active ingredient at least 0.005% by weight of at least one compound corresponding to any of the formulae <FORM:1038911/A5-A6/1> , <FORM:1038911/A5-A6/2> <FORM:1038911/A5-A6/3> wherein R1 and R3 which may be the same or different are hydrogen or aliphatic, araliphatic or aryl groups and R2 and R4 which may be the same or different are aliphatic, araliphatic or aryl groups or R1 with R2 and/or R3 with R4 together with the respective N atoms to which they are attached form heterocyclic rings and R is hydrogen or an organic or alkali metal cation, together with at least one solid nutrient feedstuff component. The nutrient component may be cereal grain, soya flour, oil cake, arachis flour, Omya chalk or powdered oyster shell. The active ingredients may also be administered to animals in their drinking water.
