abstract The invention comprises compounds of formula <FORM:1022872/C2/1> where R and R1 are H, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, and Y is H, alkyl or alkylthio, and their preparation by condensing an acyl-lactone <FORM:1022872/C2/2> with an amino-triazole <FORM:1022872/C2/3> e.g. by heating together at 60-160 DEG C. or, in the presence of an organic base, at 60-150 DEG C. In examples, R=CH3, H or PhCH2, R1=H, CH3 or Ph, and Y=S.CH3, S.C2H5, S.CH(CH3)2, CH3 or H. The product may form a salt with the amino-triazole.
