The invention comprises compounds obtainable by adding on at least one molecule of a cyclopentadiene of formula <FORM:1014423/C2/1> in which X is halogen, m is 0 or 1 and R is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, to each molecule of organic compound containing at least one C-C unsaturated bond, but excluding 1 : 1 molar ratio addition to a cyclic or acyclic diene hydrocarbon. Numerous examples are given.ALSO:Insecticidal, herbicidal and fungicidal formulations contain as active ingredient the addition product of a cyclopentadiene of formula <FORM:1014423/A5-A6/1> in which X is halogen, m is 0 or 1 and R is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, with an organic compound containing at least one C-C unsaturated bond, the 1 : 1 molar ratio addition products with a cyclic or acyclic diene hydrocarbon being excluded. |
