The present invention relates to a rose extract obtained by bringing a sample of rose into contact with a liquid natural deep eutectic solvent or NaDES ("Natural Deep Eutectic Solvent") at room temperature, characterized in that said NaDES consists of a mixture of sugar, polyol and water in a molar ratio ranging from 1:1:3 to 1:1:5, in which the rose sample is preferably chosen from rose flowers, rosewood, rose fruits, rose buds, rose leaves, rose roots, and any mixture thereof, preferably rose flowers. The invention further relates to compositions comprising such an extract, as well as cosmetic uses of such an extract. |
