titleOfInvention Asymmetric diorganomagnesium compound for catalytic system
abstract The invention relates to an asymmetric diorganomagnesium compound of formula RB-Mg-RA, RA being different from RB, RA being a polymer chain containing units of a monomer selected from the group of monomers consisting of 1,3-dienes, Aromatic α-monolefins and mixtures thereof, RB comprising a benzene ring substituted by the magnesium atom, one of the carbon atoms of the benzene ring ortho to magnesium being substituted by methyl, ethyl, isopropyl or forming a ring with the carbon atom which is its closest neighbor and which is in meta of magnesium, the other carbon atom of the benzene ring in ortho of magnesium being substituted by a methyl, an ethyl or an isopropyl, on the condition that if one of the 2 carbon atoms in ortho is substituted by an isopropyl, the second carbon atom in ortho is not substituted by an isopropyl.
