abstract The present invention relates to an in vitro method for detecting, in a biological sample, the presence of an inhibitor of a blood coagulation enzyme chosen, independently, from factor Xa (FXa) and factor IIa (FIIa), the method implementing the measurement of one or more kinetics of competition via the realization of a competitive enzymatic assay and the implementation of one or more types of decisional models of classification or regression obtained by training of supervised machine learning model (s). The method may include the identification in the biological sample of a desired inhibitor, or even its characterization, or even its quantification (via a quantitative assay). The invention also relates to a data processing system or device comprising means for implementing at least part of the method according to the invention, a computer program or recording medium readable by computer or of suitable data, and a suitable kit.
