titleOfInvention SCINTILLATOR COMPRISING AN ACTIVATOR DOPED CRYSTALLINE ALKALINO-TERROUS HALIDE AND CO-DOPED BY SM
abstract The invention relates to a scintillator material comprising a crystalline alkaline earth halide comprising at least one alkaline earth metal selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, said alkaline earth halide being doped with at least one activating dopant of its distinct scintillation of Sm2 +, and co-doped by Sm2 +. Sm codopage shifts the scintillation light emission peak to a low self-absorbing domain of the material.
