abstract | The present invention relates to a Thermal Storage System (SST) by Phase Change Material (MCP) (2) comprising a tank (1) intended to contain a MCP (2), a circulation system immersed in the tank (1) , intended for the circulation of a heat transfer fluid coming from an external circulation network of the heat transfer fluid characterized in that it comprises a device for controlling the crystallization of the MCP comprising: an injection module configured to inject, in part lower of the tank (1), a two-phase solvent in the liquid state, an evacuation module configured to evacuate the two-phase solvent in the gaseous state in the upper part of the tank, opposite the lower part. All SSTs whose MCP has problems of supercooling and slow crystallization speed are likely to be concerned by the invention. The present invention will find its application in heat and / or cold networks, urban, rural or industrial as well as in the storage of solar energy. The invention may also find applications in housing, thermal transport outside networks (trucks, boats ...) and thermal management of on-board systems. |
