A method of assembling an insert (1) on a support (2), comprising: - a preparation step (P1) in which a metal seal (7) is placed between the insert (1) and the support (2) ), and - a welding step in which a pin (8) is rotated about an axis of rotation (A) and the pin (8) is placed in contact with the insert (1) so that the pin (8) generates frictional forces on the insert (1) to liquefy the metal seal (7) and weld the insert (1) to the support (2). |
