abstract |
The present invention relates to a device for monitoring the electrophysiological activity of a subject, in particular for the diagnosis or monitoring of epilepsy, comprising: - a means for measuring cerebral electrical activity; - A means of measuring the electrical activity of the masticatory muscles; - an acquisition means configured to acquire in a synchronized manner the signals measured by the means for measuring the electrical activity of the brain and by the means for measuring the electrical activity of the masticatory muscles; - a signal processing means; and - means for transmitting the electrical signals acquired by the acquisition means to said signal processing means; wherein said signal processing means is configured to detect from among the signals measured by the cerebral electrical activity measuring means the signals measured by the masticatory muscle electrical activity measuring means. |
