The present invention relates to implantable guides, more particularly to medical devices of biological origin, and their method of preparation. The implantable guides consist of an artery segment or umbilical vein whose wall is turned over, viro-inactivated, lyophilized and sterile, and can be implanted without rehydration beforehand. The present invention is particularly intended for the tissue regeneration of severed tissue such as nerves, ligaments, tendons by bridging between the two severed tissue ends. |
