abstract | The present invention relates to a reactive precursor composition of a thermoplastic composite material comprising reinforcing fibers and a matrix based on a semi-crystalline polyamide thermoplastic polymer impregnating said fibers, said composition comprising a1) at least one semicrystalline amine polyamide prepolymer (carrier of -NH2) of said thermoplastic polymer of the matrix and a2) a chain extender, non-polymeric and bearing a cyclic carboxylic anhydride group, preferably carried by an aromatic ring, having as a substituent a group comprising ethylenic or acetylenic unsaturation, said carboxylic anhydride group which may be in acid, ester, amide or imide form with a2) being present at a level corresponding to a molar ratio a2) / (-NH2) of less than 0.36 and said thermoplastic polymer of the matrix being the product of the polymerization reaction by elongation of a1) by a2).
