PROCESS FOR DETECTION OF OXIDIZING SPECIES |
abstract |
The invention is directed to a method useful for the analysis of oxidative species in a sample comprising the steps of contacting (12) the sample with a first photoluminescent agent, and a second optically active agent, at least the first agent photoluminescent composition comprising nanoparticles doped with rare earths and oxidizable, the luminescence of the first photoluminescent agent varying, at least at a first wavelength, with the amount of oxidizing species, and the signal emitted by the second optically active agent being constant or varying at at least a second wavelength distinct from the first wavelength, with the amount of oxidizing species and in a direction opposite to the luminescence of the first photoluminescent agent; exciting (16) the first and second agents in the sample. ; measuring (18) the light intensity of the sample at least at said first and second wavelengths; and assessing the presence and / or amount of oxidizing species by interpretation (20) of said measured light intensities. |
