The invention relates to a method of adjusting an objective, comprising the steps of setting the lens to a first focus position and acquiring a first frame of a scene through the lens; set the lens to a second focus position and acquire a second frame of the same scene; producing respective power spectra (Vp1, Vp2) of the first and second images; and producing a criterion (V) representing the ratio of the power spectra to estimate the focus error of the objective. |
