abstract The invention relates to detonating cutting cords and to their preparation. Said cords have a conventional structure which comprises: a bar made of an explosive material, which comprises a V-groove extending longitudinally along one of its faces, and a coating of said V-groove of said bar, in a material loaded with metal particles. Said material loaded with metal particles and explosive material are original. They respectively contain a high level of metal particles in a binder of the original elastomer type (polymeric gum chosen from polyurethane-polyester gums, polyurethane-polyether gums and mixtures thereof) and a high level of explosive fillers in an original elastomeric-type binder.
