The present invention relates to a method of preventing stalling of the engine of a hybrid vehicle (1) equipped with an auxiliary engine (4) generally electrical and related equipment: wheels (R1 to R4), pistons (2a at 2d), tank (3), bridge (5), transmission shaft (6), gearbox (7), connections (8a, 8b), computer (9). The method uses a predicted instantaneous speed estimate of the main engine (2) to for its next top dead center, in order to be able to assist the main engine (2) in a stall situation, thanks to the auxiliary engine (4) capable of providing it punctually enough energy to not stop. The method defines two levels of instantaneous speed. In the case where the forecast instantaneous speed prediction is located in the intervention zone between the two levels, the auxiliary engine (4) assists the rotation of the main engine (2) in order to allow it to turn in the same direction, without stalling. |
