abstract The subject of the present invention is a fungicidal composition, specifically a composition containing boscalide and chlorothalonil as active substances. The mass proportion of boscalid and chlorothalonil is 1: 100 to 100: 1. The contents of boscalid and chlorothalonil constitute 5% to 90% of the fungicidal preparation. Thanks to the double action of boscalide and chlorothalonil in this binary composition, the fungicide that is the subject of the present invention offers potentiating effects when it is used as a preventive treatment, and its broad anti-pathogenic spectrum makes it possible to obtain effects that are multiplied by using a single product. In addition, its preventive value can be increased thanks to the differences in the mechanisms of action of boscalid and chlorothalonil, which make it difficult to develop resistance to this fungicidal composition in pathogens.
