The invention proposes an ammonia storage structure, in particular for the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases of combustion vehicles, characterized in that it comprises at least one storage element of one or more a gas such as ammonia in the form of a porous matrix, with which are associated irrigation means of the storage element. There is also provided a system for storing and releasing ammonia from a vehicle comprising a storage enclosure receiving such a storage structure, a selective catalytic reduction system for an internal combustion engine exhaust gas comprising such a system and an ammonia injection module in the exhaust gas, and finally a porous monolithic matrix for storing a gas, characterized in that it houses within it irrigation means for promoting the sorption / gas desorption in the matrix. |
