There is also provided a system for storing and releasing ammonia from a vehicle comprising a storage enclosure receiving such a storage structure, a selective catalytic reduction system for an internal combustion engine exhaust gas comprising such a system and an ammonia injection module in the exhaust gas, and finally a porous monolithic matrix for storing a gas, characterized in that it houses within it irrigation means for promoting the sorption / gas desorption in the matrix.
