titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR RACEMIZING L-LYSINE, USE OF THE PRODUCT OBTAINED AND INSTALLATION FOR IMPLEMENTING THE METHOD
abstract The invention relates to a process for racemizing L-lysine for continuously obtaining an aqueous solution of 30-35% by weight of D, L-lysine. A L-lysine powder is mixed in glacial acetic acid and heated to 100 ° C in the presence of a catalytic amount of acetyl salicylaldehyde; the acetic acid is evaporated until an oily residue is obtained, which is diluted with water and subjected to liquid / liquid extraction by means of a solvent, the aqueous phase obtained is selected and passed over an ion exchange resin. The invention also relates to a use of the solution of D, L-lysine obtained as raw material of a process for the continuous preparation of a salt of O, acetylsalicylic acid of D, L-lysine. The invention finally relates to an installation for the continuous implementation of the method according to the invention.
