abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for the release of beneficial agent comprising at least one beneficial agent and a carrier comprising at least one water-insoluble cyclodextrin polycondensate obtainable by esterification / polycondensation reaction: A) d) at least one cyclodextrin and B) of at least one linear or branched or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated or aromatic polycarboxylic acid and / or at least one acid ester or anhydride or acid halide of said polycarboxylic acid; and C) at least one thermoplastic polyol polymer and D) optionally at least one esterification catalyst and / or E) optionally at least one cyclic anhydride of polycarboxylic acid chosen to be different from the anhydride d polycarboxylic acid of paragraph B) and / or F) optionally at least one nonpolymeric polyol comprising from 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups. Another subject of the invention consists of a consumer product comprising at least one composition allowing the release of beneficial agent as defined above, in particular a cosmetic or dermatological composition comprising a physiologically acceptable medium. The invention also relates to a process for cosmetic treatment of a keratinous material comprising applying to the surface of said keratin material a product as defined above. |
