titleOfInvention MICROPLATE READER DEVICE
abstract The present invention relates to a device for performing optical measurements such as fluorescence and absorbance measurements on samples distributed according to measurement sites (2) on a support (1), comprising first and second illumination means (16, 10), optical detection means (7, 8), first and second optical fibers (3, 5) with an end facing the measuring sites (2) respectively in a first and a second face of the carrier (1), which device further comprises optical configuration means (9, 14) configurable so as to allow the following configurations: (i) optical coupling of the first illumination means (16) with the first optical fibers (3) and optical detection means (7, 8) with the second optical fibers (5), (ii) optical coupling of the second illumination means (10) and optical detection means (7, 8) with the second optical fibers (5) and / or (iii) optical coupling of the second illumination means (10) and optical detection means (7, 8) with the first optical fibers (3). The invention also relates to a method implemented in this device.
