abstract |
The invention relates to a method for forming a lithium-ion type battery, comprising the following steps: (a) forming in a substrate (30) a recess (32) whose side walls (34) have a reentrant profile; (b) depositing, by physical vapor phase depositions, successive and non-compliant, a stack of the various layers (42-46) constituting a lithium-ion type battery, this stack having a thickness less than the depth of the recess; (c) depositing on the structure a fill layer (50) filling the space remaining in the recess; and (d) planarizing the structure to expose the upper surface (46) of the stack. |
