abstract |
The invention relates to a method for depositing an organo-mineral sol-gel anticorrosion coating on a stainless steel. The method comprises the steps of: a) providing a stainless steel member having a surface; b) treating said surface in a treatment step; c) a layer of an organo-mineral colloid composition is applied to the treated surface in order to form said organ-inorganic sol-gel anticorrosive coating. The treatment step b) comprises the following substeps: said surface of said stainless steel element is mechanically and chemically etched in steps of mechanical etching and chemical etching; and forming a passive layer on said etched surface so as to be able to apply said layer of said organo-mineral colloidal composition to the passivated surface. |
