The present invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of taxol derivatives, comprising a step of esterifying a baccatin III derivative with a carboxylic acid comprising an oxazolidine ring. The present invention also relates to certain novel intermediates involved in this process, and in particular the compound resulting from this esterification step. Said method can be used for the preparation of tesetaxel. |
