titleOfInvention PROCESS FOR PROMOTING EXUDATION OF OLEORESIN AND COMPOSITION FOR CARRYING OUT SAID METHOD
abstract The present invention relates to processes for promoting the exudation of oleoresin from trees 3, in particular from pines or other conifers, as well as a composition for the implementation of the process and an application of citric acid. The process consists of preparing, in the liquid phase, an activator 1 of the oleoresin exudation, to adsorb the activator by an adsorber support having a structure enabling it to retain the activator in the liquid phase, and to contacting the adsorber support with a superficial injury 2 inflicted on a shaft 3, so that the liquid activator remains in contact with the wound 2 and is released by the adsorber support. As for the composition, it comprises a liquid phase activator of the oleoresin exudation 5 and an adsorber support 1 which has adsorbed a determined amount of the liquid activator. The invention also relates to an application of a solution of citric acid or one of its derivatives as an activator of oleoresin 5 exudation.
