titleOfInvention X-FLUORESCENCE IMAGING DEVICE
abstract It is an X-ray fluorescence imaging device comprising at least one excitation source (1) able to emit an interrogating beam (2) towards an object (3) so that the object emits a radiation (4) as a consequence of the interaction between the interrogator beam (2) and the object (3), this radiation (4) emitted by the object under the effect of the irradiation including a fluorescence X-ray, a image-generating device (5) provided with a detector (5.1) for detecting the radiation emitted by the object under the effect of the irradiation, a collimator (8) upstream of the detector (5.1) for limiting its field of view. The detector (5.1) is a pixel detector whose pixels are intended to perform a function of energy selection of the detected radiation and to provide an image signal relative to the radiation detected in a given energy band.
