abstract | The present invention relates to a method of encapsulation of products that may have lipophilic or hydrophilic properties, including volatile, in a particularly impervious polysiloxane membrane. It also proposes a method for evaluating the tightness of such capsules. This process comprises the following steps: a) - droplet formation by an emulsion between an oily phase containing the product to be encapsulated and an acidic aqueous phase heated to about 50 ° C. and in the presence of surfactants; b) - addition and hydrolysis of at least one silane to obtain a silanol; c) - increasing the pH to obtain a start of condensation of silanol to form a first membrane around the droplets of the product to be encapsulated; d) - drop in pH; e) - pH increase, optionally preceded by the addition of a silane, to obtain a new condensation of silanol around the droplets of the product to be encapsulated. |
