titleOfInvention NANOCRYSTALLINE MATERIAL, METHOD OF MANUFACTURE AND USES
abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing a nanocrystalline or partially nano-crystallized material, nanocrystalline or partially nano-crystalline materials obtained by this method, and their uses. The method of the invention comprises a step of applying frictional forces to said material in amorphous form followed by an isothermal crystallization step at a temperature in the region of the crystallization exotherm of said material. The present invention finds particular applications in the design of solid molecular materials, especially in pharmaceuticals, for example for the manufacture of new active ingredients or medicaments for human or veterinary use, for example also for the modification of drugs or active principles already known, for example used in human or veterinary medicine. The present invention finds for example also applications in the fields of cosmetics, food and energy materials.
