abstract According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a method for determining the quality of the atmosphere of a target indoor environment, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: measuring the concentrations of a plurality of polluting elements in the atmosphere of the target indoor environment, - assigning a score to each of said polluting elements, said rating being a function of the measured concentration of said pollutant element with respect to one or more quality thresholds, each quality threshold corresponding to a percentile of distribution of the concentrations measured for said pollutant element in indoor environments of the same type as the target indoor environment, - determining an overall index as a function of the ratings of said pollutant elements. The invention also extends to a device capable of implementing the method according to the first aspect.
