The present invention relates to a process for preparing a metallized substrate comprising the steps of: grafting onto said substrate a polymer-type compound optionally having a group capable of chelating at least one metal ion; placing said polymer-like compound capable of chelating at least one metal ion in contact with at least one metal ion and subjecting the polymer-like compound to conditions for reducing said chelated metal ion (s) (s) and repeat the chelation / reduction steps until a metallized substrate is obtained. The present invention also relates to the substrates obtained during this process and their uses. |
