| abstract |
The invention relates to an oven for heating an object in a location comprising a refractory ceramic wall and a heat source, characterized in that it comprises at least one metal plate coated with an adherent layer of a ceramic material on a its main faces, said coated plate being placed between said wall and said source, the adhesive layer being located vis-à-vis the source. The coated metal plate acts as a thermal barrier and improves the heating efficiency of the heat source. The oven can especially be used for gravity bending of glass sheets placed on a bending frame. |
